I couldn't find body care that took the problem seriously.
I knew what good skincare looked like. I knew what actives could do. I knew what it felt like to have a routine for my face that was targeted, considered and built around results.
Then my body changed.
The skin on my thighs, stomach and arms looked different, but the body-care aisle still felt like some version of the same thing: moisturize, smell good, move on.
I wasn't looking for another lotion.
I wanted something made specifically for the things I was actually seeing: cellulite, crepey texture, loss of firmness and skin that no longer looked quite like it used to.
So Srdjan and I built Pielnora.
A cooling Sculpting Gel for the morning. A richer, warming Firming Treatment at night. Two different formulas because the concerns are different, the textures should be different, and body care deserved more thought than putting everything into one jar.
Pielnora isn't about trying to get your old body back.
It's about taking the body you have now seriously enough to care for it well. It's about honoring your skin.

Why Pielnora Exists
Body care had been treated like the easy category for too long.
Face care became increasingly targeted: different formulas for texture, firmness, hydration, tone and different moments in a routine. Body care largely stayed broad.
We wanted to bring that same level of intention below the neck. That means targeted formulas. Ingredients chosen for a specific role. A morning-and-night system that makes sense in real life. And claims focused on what skincare can actually change: the way skin looks, feels and behaves at the surface.
That's what we mean by performance body skincare.
Formulated close to home.
Pielnora is developed and produced on Vancouver Island, Canada, with performance-led clean formulas that are vegan and never tested on animals.
We chose to build the brand close to where we live so we could stay connected to the formulas, the people making them and the standard we wanted the products to meet from the beginning.
The standards behind Pielnora.
An ingredient earns its place because it has a job to do. Clean formulation matters to us, but it isn't the whole story. The product still has to perform.
Cellulite, crepey texture, dryness and loss of firmness are different concerns. We don't think one generic lotion needs to pretend it does everything.
Two minutes in the morning. Two at night. If a routine is too complicated to keep doing, it doesn't matter how beautiful it looks on a bathroom shelf.
Pielnora is designed to improve the appearance of skin: smoother texture, firmer-looking skin, a more toned appearance and a softer look to dimpling and cellulite. We are not here to promise a different body.
Bodies change. Sometimes because of something you worked incredibly hard for. Sometimes because of hormones, age or circumstances you never chose. Wanting to care for the skin that came with those changes doesn't mean you need to hate the body underneath it.
Pielnora should feel like the opposite of beauty marketing that makes you inspect yourself for new problems. More openness. More shared experience. More women saying, "mine does that too." Less shame around bodies doing what bodies do.
